چکیده
Wizened buds are frequently observed in pear (Pyrus spp.) trees, which greatly reduces the yield. However, little is known about mechanism of wizened bud formation. Here, we analyzed physiological and transcriptomic differences between normal ‘710’ trees. The results indicated that sorbitol boron (B) contents, during differentiation, were significantly reduced buds. microscopic observation transcriptome analysis revealed collapse organ structure cell wall loosening process may have a close relation with Moreover, transcript levels PpyMYB39.1 its downstream genes (PpyHT1, PpyHT2, PpyPMEI1 PpyPMEI2) found pentose glucuronate interconversion pathway (PpyPME3, PpyPL18.1, PpyPL18.2, PpyPG1 PpyPG2) concentration pectin-degradation-related enzymes increased Correspondingly, pectin was Taken together, promote degradation decrease carbohydrate transport by regulating supposed to play vital role formation resulting from process. Comparative Transcriptome and Microscopy Analyses Provide Insights into Flat Shape Formation in Peach (Prunus persica)
Fruit shape is an important external characteristic that consumers use to select preferred fruit cultivars. In peach, the flat fruit cultivars have become more and more popular worldwide. Genetic markers closely linking to the flat fruit trait have been identified and are useful for marker-assisted breeding. However, the cellular and genetic mechanisms underpinning flat fruit formation are stil...
متن کاملTranscriptome and Cell Physiological Analyses in Different Rice Cultivars Provide New Insights Into Adaptive and Salinity Stress Responses
Salinity tolerance has been extensively investigated in recent years due to its agricultural importance. Several features, such as the regulation of ionic transporters and metabolic adjustments, have been identified as salt tolerance hallmarks. Nevertheless, due to the complexity of the trait, the results achieved to date have met with limited success in improving the salt tolerance of rice pla...
متن کاملTranscriptome analyses provide insights into the phylogeny and adaptive evolution of the mangrove fern genus Acrostichum
The mangrove fern genus Acrostichum grows in the extremely unstable marine intertidal zone under harsh conditions, such as high salt concentrations, tidal rhythms and long-term climate changes. To explore the phylogenetic relationships and molecular mechanisms underlying adaptations in this genus, we sequenced the transcriptomes of two species of Acrostichum, A. aureum and A. speciosum, as well...
متن کاملCorrigendum: Temporal-Spatial Transcriptome Analyses Provide Insights into the Development of Petaloid Androecium in Canna indica
Canna indica (Zingiberales) is one of the most important ornamental species characterized with beautiful petaloid staminodes, which are considered to evolve from stamens. However, the genetic basis for the development of petaloid staminodes remains unclear largely because the genomic sequences are not available. By using RNA-Seq, we sequenced the transcripts in the flower of C. indica, and quan...
متن کاملTissue-specific transcriptome analyses provide new insights into GPCR signalling in adult Schistosoma mansoni
Schistosomes are blood-dwelling trematodes with global impact on human and animal health. Because medical treatment is currently based on a single drug, praziquantel, there is urgent need for the development of alternative control strategies. The Schistosoma mansoni genome project provides a platform to study and connect the genetic repertoire of schistosomes to specific biological functions es...
